Preparations are beginning for this year’s Castlerea Agricultural Show, and the organisers are inviting the community to attend the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The meeting will take place on Friday, 20th March at 8pm in the Trinity Arts Centre, Castlerea.
The AGM is a great opportunity for anyone interested in the show to hear about plans for the year ahead, share ideas, and get involved in organising one of the most important annual events in the local calendar. The Castlerea Agricultural Show has long been a highlight for the community, celebrating farming, rural life, local talent and tradition.
This year’s show will take place on August Bank Holiday Monday, 3rd August 2026, and planning is now getting underway to ensure another fantastic day for exhibitors, farmers, families and visitors alike.
Organisers are encouraging local farmers, exhibitors, volunteers, supporters and anyone with an interest in the show to come along on the night. New volunteers and fresh ideas are always welcome, and the AGM is a great way to get involved and help shape the future of the event.
