There’s great excitement in Castlerea today as Roscommon World Circus Day takes place in Somers Park from 2pm to 5pm and best of all, it’s a free event for all the family.
Organised by Roscommon Arts Office in association with Motion Chapel and Castlerea Rose Festival, the afternoon promises plenty of fun, colour and entertainment for all ages.
Visitors can enjoy a lively programme of circus performances, aerial acts, juggling, unicycles, stilt walkers and live music, along with interactive workshops for children, face painting, balloons and bubbles.
With the good weather, it’s the perfect opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy a great community event right in the heart of Castlerea.
