If you are looking for something a little different to do this evening, why not head along to the Demesne, Castlerea for a fascinating Bat Talk & Walk as part of National Biodiversity Week.
Hosted by Roscommon County Council in association with Bat Conservation Ireland, the event will feature Catherine Howarth from Coyle Environmental, who will share lots of interesting facts about Ireland’s bats, including where they live, what they eat and why they are so important to our environment.
Following the talk, attendees will enjoy a guided evening walk through the woods at dusk to discover more about the wildlife living right on our doorstep.
