Tarmon National School is extending a warm invitation to past and present pupils, parents, staff members and friends of the school to join in a special celebration marking the retirement of Mr. Dowd.
A special Mass will be held in the school hall at 11.30am on Tuesday, 23rd June 2026, followed by light refreshments.
Over the years, Mr. Dowd has played an important role in the lives of countless pupils and families within the Tarmon community. His dedication, commitment and contribution to education have left a lasting impact on the school and wider community.
The retirement celebration will provide an opportunity for everyone who has been part of the Tarmon National School journey, both past and present, to come together, share memories and wish Mr. Dowd every happiness in his retirement.
The school would be delighted to welcome members of the Tarmon National School community to what promises to be a very special occasion.
