Castlerea St. Kevin’s GAA Club is inviting local women to come along to a Gaelic for Mothers & Others Information Night taking place next week in the clubhouse.
The information evening will be held on Wednesday 11th March at 8pm in the Castlerea St. Kevin’s Clubhouse and is open to anyone interested in getting active, meeting new people and having a bit of fun.
The Gaelic4Mothers&Others initiative is a fantastic programme run by the Ladies Gaelic Football Association which introduces women to Gaelic football in a friendly, social and non-competitive environment. It’s designed especially for mothers and women aged 25 and over, many of whom may already be bringing their children to training or matches.
No previous experience of Gaelic football is required, and the focus is very much on participation, enjoyment and social connection rather than competition. Whether you’ve never kicked a ball before or it’s been years since you last played, everyone is welcome.

Take part in a fun team activity
