The Castlerea Community and Family Resource Centre is more than just a building — it’s a welcoming hub where families, individuals, and community groups can find support, opportunities, and connection. Located in the heart of Castlerea, our open-door policy means everyone is welcome, and we pride ourselves on being approachable, inclusive, and community-led.
Our centre is guided by a local voluntary management committee who understand the needs, strengths, and challenges of our area. By listening to our community and working closely with local people, we ensure that the Castlerea Community and Family Resource Centre delivers services that truly meet local needs.
We focus on both practical support and community development, creating a safe space for people to find information, build skills, join groups, and feel part of something bigger.
Information, Advice & Support – Whether you need guidance on local services, help with forms, or advice on rights and entitlements, our friendly team is here to help.
Referrals to Specialist Services – If you need additional support, we can connect you with trusted services in the area.
Education & Training – We host courses to help you develop personally, build confidence, and learn new skills.
Community Groups – From after-school clubs to men’s groups and social gatherings, there’s something for all ages and interests.
Counselling & Emotional Support – A safe, confidential space to talk and be heard.
Support for Local Groups – We help community groups with organisation, funding advice, and resources.
Facilities & Resources – Access to computers, internet, and office facilities for personal or group use.
