Castlerea Golf Club

Castlerea Golf Club is a beautiful mature parkland course founded in 1905 and conveniently situated in the town of Castlerea. Two new holes were opened in 2018 and this year we developed two new greens. Ten holes are now in play, giving a different golfing experience on both nines, with White Tee par 69 and Red Tee par 72. The river Suck runs gently through the course which we cross on two holes. It adds an air of tranquillity as well as a golfing challenge in the most pleasant of surroundings. Take a moment to stand on our 4th/13th to immerse yourself in nature to the backdrop of our beautiful river. The course is protected by maturing trees ,while strategically placed bunkers and good greens make it a challenge for all abilities.
