Castlerea is the place to be this Saturday with three fantastic festive events taking place throughout the day. Whether you’re an early riser or prefer an evening spectacle, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
9.30am – Festive Parkrun, Castlerea Demesne
Start your day with the Festive Parkrun in the beautiful Castlerea Demesne. Wear your favourite festive outfit and join us at the start line for a fun 5km run, jog or walk. Refreshments will be available in d’Gaff afterwards – a perfect opportunity to warm up and catch up with friends and neighbours.
3pm – Christmas Cinema, The Hub
Bring the family along to The Hub for a screening of the family favourite The Christmas Chronicles. Entry is only €5 per person. Settle in for an afternoon of festive entertainment on the big screen.
6pm – Illuminated Tractor Parade
Cap off your day with the spectacular Illuminated Tractor Parade as beautifully lit-up tractors make their way through the streets of Castlerea. A truly magical sight and a wonderful way to celebrate the season.
